Professor Wu Xing of the School of Communication and Electronic Engineering was selected for the 2020 Shanghai Shuguang Talent Program

Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission announced the 2020 Shanghai Shuguang Talent Program shortlisted list. A total of 57 people were selected. Among them, a total of 4 people from East China Normal University were selected. Professor Wu Xing of our school was successfully selected.

Professor Wu Xing has been a Zijiang Young Researcher of East China Normal University since 2014, and was subsequently selected as an outstanding scholar of Zijiang and awarded the honorary title of Shanghai March 8th Red Banner Bearer. Professor Wu Xing’s research directions include semiconductor materials, semiconductor devices, integrated circuit design and integrated systems, encapsulation testing and reliability, micro-nano sensing and MEMS. She has presided over or participated in more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial-level projects, and published more than 100 SCI papers in top international journals, such as Science, Nature, IEEE TED, etc., with a citation rate of more than 5000 times. Professor Wu Xing has also obtained more than 40 authorized patents, and was selected into the national and Shanghai high-level talent programs.

The Shuguang Talent Program aims to build a team of college teachers with good ideological and political quality, teacher ethics, strong professional ability, high level of scientific research, and a certain degree of academic influence. This program is jointly managed and implemented by the Municipal Education Commission and the Municipal Education Development Foundation.
